📖 Naga Incense Powder (Lu Sang) — Sacred Offering to the Lord of Nagas

Naga Incense Powder, traditionally known as Lu Sang in the Himalayan Buddhist tradition, is a sacred herbal incense powder specially prepared for offering to the Lords of the Nagas — serpent-like spirit beings believed to dwell in lakes, springs, forests, and beneath the earth.

🌿 Purpose and Significance
In Vajrayana Buddhism, Nag Sang (Lu Sang) offerings are performed to:
•Accumulate merits by pleasing the Nagas
•Remove obstacles, illnesses, and misfortunes
•Appease elemental spirits associated with water, earth, and nature
•Restore balance between humans and nature spirits

By offering this fragrant herbal smoke, practitioners seek to pacify the Nagas, removing unseen hindrances and illnesses believed to be caused by displeased nature spirits. In return, it is believed that the Nagas bestow wealth, health, and good fortune upon the practitioner.
🌸 Ingredients
Naga Incense Powder is traditionally made from a blend of sacred Himalayan herbs, medicinal plants, aromatic woods, and natural resins — carefully chosen for their purifying and soothing effects, as well as their appeal to Naga spirits.

Typical ingredients may include:
•Juniper
•Cedarwood
•Rhododendron
•Sandalwood
•Frankincense
•Medicinal herbs and natural resins
🔥 How to Use
•Place a small portion of the incense powder on a fire-safe sang burner, brazier, or charcoal.
•Light it and let the fragrant smoke rise.
•Recite Naga offering prayers or mantras (commonly Lu Sang Soldeb texts) while visualizing the smoke pleasing the Nagas and dissolving obstacles.
•Best performed in natural places like near rivers, lakes, forests, or clean outdoor spaces.
